Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer 

Salary: £43,500 - £48,000

Shifts: Monday - Friday Day Shift 

 

Our client, a fantastic manufacturing facility over in Coventry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their established team. The successful applicant will play an instrumental role within the Engineering Team assisting with the successful launch of new products.

The Role: 

• Design, install, maintain and evaluate manufacturing processes/systems and equipment
• Implement, update and maintain product specific action plans and control documentation
• Create project timing plans that reflect the customer implementation requirements 
• Attend regular meetings with the Manufacturing Team to provide updates and progress reports
• Support with training and guiding Junior Manufacturing Team in continuous improvement methodology and techniques
• Verify manufacturing processes are fit for purpose and achieving quality and performance indicators 
• Assist with achieving the departmental quarterly and annual objectives 

 

You’ll Need: 

• Previous experience of operating in a Manufacturing Engineer post 
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement, APQP, 6 Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Process Risk, Route Cause Analysis, 8D & Problem Solving Skills
• Proactive approach and able to provide complex manufacturing engineering solutions
• Project Management skills 
• Excellent numerical skills 
• Ability to liaise across internal and external departments 
• Desirable however not essential, a degree in an engineering discipline
