Title: Sales Administrator

Salary: Dependent on experience

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Location:  Corby, Northamptonshire

 

VH Talent is delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a global manufacturing facility based in Corby to appoint a Sales Administrator. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for all customer interactions, to ensure an efficient and excellent service is provided to their client-base.

The Sales Administrator Role:

  • Answer all incoming calls and correspondence
  • Process orders and respond to enquiries, ensuring to log accurately onto the internal system
  • Complete all relevant administration for each order
  • Collate and prepare export documentation in preparation for despatch
  • Liaise across departments to ensure orders are despatched in order to achieve agreed SLA’s
  • Support the Sales Team with any other administrative tasks that the department may need assistance with

 

You’ll Need:

  • Experience of working in an customer service or administration role, within a manufacturing or engineering setting is desirable however not essential
  • Adopts a proactive approach and able to use own initiative to drive tasks to completion
  • Has attention to detail in the work they carry out, highly organised and able to multitask
  • Customer service and administration skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
